Lindi Educare Center
The Lindi Educare Centre is a community school that was established by Zindua Dada Center CBO in response to the gaps and unmet needs of some vulnerable members of the community and for parents who need high-quality education for their children.
We focus on ending early pregnancies and marriages in the Budalang’i area and eventually reduce cases of Gender-based violence which often is caused by high poverty levels in the area.
Lindi Educare Center will benefit the entire community children by offering quality education while the other community members shall benefit from the project through economic empowerment initiatives that we are offering them.
Community Brick making project
We train and assist the community in making bricks commercially. The bricks are sold locally or to buyers outside Busia County.
Women's Group
We support single mothers and widows in the community. We have a women’s group under our CBO, known as Khwicha Women’s Group
Basketry/ Crafts
The CBO engages the community in weaving baskets and crafts that are sold commercially.
Vegetable Farming/ Poultry
We engage the community and groups in vegetable farming and poultry farming too. They also receive skills in farming and economic empowerment through the farming to be financially independent. We target women’s groups and the youth for this endeavor.
